Instructions for shifters[edit]
Use this section to provide specific instructions that should be followed by shifters, if any. Otherwise simply write 'None.'
Min zenith = 56 deg Max zenith = 70 deg (not strictly) NSB: Dark Wobbles: Custom Wobble (W0.90+013.6/193.6, W0.90+103.6/283.6) Total time requested: 80 hours comment for shifters: - while it would be preferable to keep the standard duration of runs (15 or 20 min) as much as possible, at the same time it would be great if you can take the four wobble positions as equally as possible: - if you have just 40 min for instance, then "10 min * 4" would be good, so that the wobble positions can be completed in the same night. - practically, you would schedule "8 min * 4" to take the time gap for repositioning into account. - also good to avoid always starting with W1 by changing the initial wobble position on a night-by-night basis, so that the Zd distribution can be balanced more among the wobble positions. comment for schedulers: - Though relatively low zenith angles (<65 deg) would be preferable, it is not always necessary to forcefully get observations concentrated on those angles. instead it would be good to try to take data as much as possible regardless of the zenith angle. - This is also applicable for the azimuth angle, as this observation will be performed solely with LST-1, not with MAGIC.
