2018-05-10	Koji, Tomohiro, Toni, CaSana	Mirror Transportation	Today we finished to install 13 mirrors on the structure (in total 99 and replaced the broken one to new one which we brought yesterday.
2018-05-09	Koji, Tomohiro, CaSana	Mirror Transportation	Today we brought 40 mirrors (8 crates) from Mirca to Roque by Dargar Express successfully and we also brought 8 empty crates back to Mirca. CaSana installed several special IF plates.
2018-05-08	Koji, Tomohiro, Toni, Casana	Mirror Installation	We finished to install 12 mirrors on the structure (in total 86). We also installed the 4 special interface plates in the left bottom part, so we could install mirrors at those points. There was one accident. When the CaSana people were installing the mirror in (2, -8), they found a crack on the surface of the mirror in (0,-8). Probably they made it, because they had tried to get their cherry picker closer to the mirror many times. The size of crack is about 1cm×4cm from their pictures and movies. We asked Uwe to put silicone on the surface of the cracked mirror as a temporal solution and they did. Probably we will replace that mirror to new one at Mirca as soon as possible.
2018-05-04	Koji, Tomohiro, Casana	Mirror Installation	We finished to install 16 mirrors on the structure (in total 74).
2018-05-03	Koji, Tomohiro, Casana	Mirror Installation	We finished to install 14 mirrors on the structure (in total 58). We found one CMOS camera whose mirror was already installed last time. Its coordinate is (+1,+3). After we found it, we asked Uwe(CaSana) to change wrong one to correct one for the mirror in (+1,+3) and they did successfully. They told us that the mirror in (+1,+3) was with the CMOS camera for (1,-3) mistakenly.
2018-04-28	Satoshi, Tomohiro, Casana	Mirror Installation	We finished to install 12 mirrors on the structure (in total 44). Casana people inside the dish dropped one O-ring while removing actuator caps. Once by mistake we assembled a wrong combination of a CMOS and a mirror. We noticed that when we were putting the assembled one on the cradle. We should always be careful for the combination.
2018-04-27	Martin, Satoshi, Tomohiro, Casana	Mirror Installation	We finished to install 16 mirrors on the structure (in total 32). Casana people inside the dish dropped a hexagonal key. It was later found on the catwalk below them. We were not sure if people inside the dish unscrew milling parts to straighten actuators and fix the milling parts again. Martin went inside the dish and checked that they are doing these works for all the mirrors.
2018-04-26	Martin, Satoshi, Tomohiro, Casana	Mirror Installation	We started the mirror installation at Roque. We finished to install 15 mirrors on the structure (in total 16).

Trouble Shooting

• 2018/04/28
  • While inserting a safety bolt, we damaged a little the edge of the hole. We kept this mirror today and will attach silicon paint the next working day.
  • We found one fixed point which has one hole just above a sticking part of the hose band. We replaced with a new fixed point as we could not insert a bolt to that hole.

• 2018/04/26
  • When Casana people tried to install one mirror, they realized a big nut did not fit the fixed point and they could not fix the fixed point. It may have happened in the dish when trying to fix the nut. We solved this problem quickly by replacing the fixed point with a new one. Still, we check if a nut fits well a fixed point of a mirror to be installed before attaching it to the cherry picker.
  • Sometimes it is very hard to insert safety bolts because of glue and a tape inside the hole. We solved by using a small hammer and a small screwdriver which Holger suggested to us to use to remove glue or tape.
