Proposal

Proposal: GAL01:Large Zenith Angle observation of the hadronic PeVatron candidate in the Boomerang SNR (G106.3+2.7) with LST-1
PI: Franca Cassol (cassol@cppm.in2p3.fr)

Coordinates

We aim to measure both the tail and the head of the Boomerang SNR. For that the wobbles are back to back in a point that not
correspond to the two source targets, that we call "Center of wobbles".
  Wobbles coordinates:
    W1 : RA: 337.488 deg, Dec: 60.701 deg
    W2 : RA: 336.160 deg, Dec: 61.134 deg
Center of wobbles: RA (J2000) = 336.829 deg DEC (J2000) = 60.919 deg
Wobble distance = 0.3885 deg
Wobble angles: W1 = 146 deg W2 = W1+180 deg = 326 deg

Observational settings/limits

Zenith: 60-75 deg (if the source is used as backup source, other zenith angles could be also useful for systematics studies).

Moon: 2-3 Moon level
