Summary Tests and Installations
- April 30th Toni D. and Alexander H. climbed the telescope to fix stuck mirrors. The communication fibres of the calibration box were swapped.
- May 2nd the ORM experienced an unscheduled powercut at around 10:16. Flywheels and diesel took over. Only UC-1 showed a false "person inside" alert. We inspected UC 1-4, no problems found.
- May 6th Martin W. and Alexander H. climbed the telescope to fix the rest of the stuck mirrors and apply silicone to the pads of some mirrors. Same day started to take images for creating LUTs for these mirrors.
- CaCo was in error quite often during mid of last week. Fixed now.
- AMC: PSF improvements and defocussing routines.
- Took a time lapse movies of sun light being focused on the MAGIC counting house and bushes for focused and two different defocussed mirror settings respectively. https://datashare.mpcdf.mpg.de/s/fflOEc9L2ArDaKd
- While testing AMC: Not sure the Alt/Az offset of drive (always?) works correctly.
- Toni D. tested two cameras for monitoring the locking systems. He concluded that the cheaper one is better.
- May 6th - May 8th Hitachi was on site for UC maintenance
- Time lapse movies of sunrise with focused/defocused mirrors
- Light intensity measurements during sunrise and sunset
- Moved obviously misaligned mirrors to central spot
- Found additional not moving mirrors
